CLUBHOUSE RULES

Dress Code: Our Club Observes a Country Club Casual dress code. We kindly ask that all attire remain neat, presentable, and appropriate for the club setting.

Gentlemen and ladies are requested to dress in a fashion compatible with the appropriate occasion. Tasteful denim is permitted throughout the club, with the exception of the main dining room, where jackets are encouraged for gentlemen during dinner service.

Athleisure attire is welcome for all members in the Snack Grill only. Golf and tennis attire are permitted for ladies at lunch in the Trophy Room and on the verandas.

Gentlemen are required to remove their hats in the Clubhouse.

Smoking inside any buildings at Glen Arven is prohibited at all times. Smoking on uncovered pa- tios and porches is permitted with the following exception:
Smoking on the open porch, between the trophy room porch and the main dining room
porch, is prohibited between the hours of 11:00a.m.-2:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.-9:00p.m., when food service is available on either of those porches.
-Smoking in the pool area is prohibited at all times except during private parties in which case the smoking policy will be at the discretion of the party host.

Cell phone use is allowed at Glen Arven under the following conditions:

Cell phones should be silenced at all times while inside the clubhouse.

Cell phone conversations should not be conducted in the dining areas of the club.

Power bike, mini-bike, bicycle, or skateboard riding is not permitted on Club property. They may be used to reach the Club, but then must be parked until user leaves the Club.

Due to legal liabilities, only beverages purchased from the Club may be consumed on the Club premises.

No member or guest shall take any article belonging to the Club from Club property. Members are liable for property damaged or destroyed by themselves, family members, and their guests or pets.

Members dining in the clubhouse are responsible for the actions of their children and guests on the putting green and surrounding holes.

Parents who would like to have their children play outside while they are dining are asked to please direct the children to the lawn between the snack bar and the pool.

In consideration of golfers on the course, and most importantly for the safety of the children, please do not allow children to play on or around the greens at the number 9 and number 18.

There is to be NO running and NO yelling.

Members must sign all charge tickets prior to leaving the Clubhouse.

Club privileges of inactive members are suspended.
Failure to adhere to these rules and regulations may result in suspension of club privileges and/or termination of membership.
